I haven't heard from Ray and Marilyn McNeal yet or Show Ming or Judy Chen so hope to hear from them today (or if you have heard from them, please let me know.)  Hope they missed the earthquake in China.  Also I hope all the dances in the area of the fires in Florida are okay and in the middle of the storms in the Central and East United States.  I think everyone needs a break from catastrophies!!!

easy dances to Latin rhythms
From:
bgofarden@msn.com
I'm thinking about doing a class for beginners and ultra beginners at camp this year. The focus would be on dances to Latin rhythms. There are a few things I'm considering and I just did a search on Kick It for ideas. Does anyone have any suggestions for songs or dances. Mainly these are people who only dance once a year. Thanks,
BG

SUBJECT: Need title of song and artist
FROM: Sharen/OH
I'm looking for the name of a song that I heard. Here are some of the lyrics: "I wanna be free in the blue mountains, those magic mountains, some day will be home......my PA home." It's a beautiful, slow song. I have tried to find the music on Kickit and also in an online search, but none of the titles I tried found anything. I can certainly do Blue Rose to it and even Stroll Along Cha Cha, but my dancers like the music we currently use for both. I'd like a dance just for this song. THANKS. Sharen414@aol.com

SUBJECT: Line Dance NOW
FROM: Rita E., Watertown, WI, ensm@sbcglobal
I happened across an excellent, simple rhythm, beginner/intermediate level line dance called NOW, choreographed by Jan Wyllie. The music is It's Your World Now by The Eagles. There are no tags or restarts in this 64-count, 2-wall line dance. My dancers love the popular dances to the fast music, but the slower music for the line dance NOW is a nice reprieve.

For the easy intermediates - intermediates I taught new ones:
