Sujet : CBA 2012 – Blackpool (UK)
From : Michèle Godard – France – www.movinline.fr

Hello,

My name is Michele Godard and I come from France. I just wanted to thank everyone at the Crystal Boot Awards as I was invited to teach my dance Doo Wah Diddy at this amazing event.

I have gone to the CBA now for 4 years and each one gets better than the last. I am lucky enough to travel in Europe and go to quite a few events during the year but the CBA is something else.

From the fun of Friday night (this year with the Swing group Jive Aces WOW!) to the Saturday night Gala with acts that are just amazing and take your breath away and the Sunday parade where madness reigns, this is one weekend that every Line dancer should experience at leats once in their lifetime.

And I am not even talking about the workshops or the social dancing!!!!

But the real stars as far as I am concerned are the Linedancer Team. Betty and her crew just work flat out to ensure that everyone gets treated like a VIP and the result is an event where dancers enjoy every minute to the full, with no complications or problems.

I also want to thank Frank Trace who helped me so much with my English on the stage (Stage fright big time!) and Peter Metelnick who was so kind to a little French woman he had never met before. They both made my teach easier and I am grateful to both of them for their kind words and actions.

Thanks guys! See you next year I am booked already!
Michèle

Subject: "Thank You" to my new dancing friends in Tennessee!
From: Rona Kaye, New York City

I am on my last day of a four day visit to Tennessee. My best friend from childhood lives just outside of Chattanooga in Cleveland, TN. She started line dancing about a year ago, takes three classes weekly and is totally addicted! (Sound familiar???)

I danced with her and her TN dancing friends every day during my visit! I'd like to take this time to sincerely thank the dancers here in TN for their warm welcome to me. They could not have been nicer. I ended up teaching in four different classes! Thanks so much to Judy Rogers, Vicki Pierson and Brenda Sauls for inviting me to teach in their classes...it was a touching and meaningful experience...once again feeling very blessed and very grateful.

I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the very talented instructors, choreographers and performers who were recognized and honored at this year's Crystal Boot Awards. It was wonderful to see the video recap...sincere and warm congratulations to my teaching colleagues and friends...hoping to see all of you soon!
