How To Load Videos On Youtube
I've had a lot of people ask me questions about how to load videos on www.youtube.com
I asked Nigel to do a step-by-step on how to do it. He lives in the UK so the program may be a little different so if you have your own step-by-step, please send it and I'll ask Stacy to put the instructions on the video page for future reference. Thanks, Nigel.
1. Transfer your video onto your computer
2. I use the software package, ROXIO, to convert the video into a format suitable for viewing on the internet websites like Youtube. The main thing is to convert the video into a Windows Media Audio/Video file (WMV)
3. You have to keep the video under 10 minutes and less than 100 MBS for youtube
4. Go to Youtube and follow the instructions to upload (that is very easy)
FROM GRAHAM
What I am about to say will only work if you are using windows as I have no access to Macs over here so I hope that is OK.
The way that I format to upload to You-Tube is as a WMA/V file and the easiest way is by using windows movie maker (WMM) that is bundled with all windows products.
If you have the file already on computer
Then it is slightly different depending on your version of windows
If you have Vista
I normally try and get then down to about 60mb to save upload time.
If you have XP
The basics are the same but
Hope this is helpful Lots more info on http://www.google.com/support/youtube/?hl=en_GB
